Good oral health and a great smile can make a difference in relationships and in people’s overall lives. Did you know a majority of women say good oral health is one of the sexiest qualities men have? So guys, it’s time to tidy up your smile!
A Delta Dental survey finds that three-quarters of the nation’s women consider good oral health to be one of the sexiest qualities in a partner. If it’s not up to par, their partner can count on fewer kisses and possibly even the end of the relationship.
Because of bad breath and the perception of the person having a “dirty mouth”, women are hesitant to date men that don’t take care of their teeth. Poor hygiene tops the list of reasons women say they’ll break up with someone. Listen up men! Your lady said they will BREAK UP WITH YOU over poor hygiene. So, if you’re not already making brushing your teeth a priority, now is the time!
Additionally, 70% of women say they won’t kiss someone they believe has poor oral health vs. 65% of men.
Maintaining good oral health really comes down to the basics: brushing twice a day with a fluoride toothpaste, floss, and see your dentist regularly. For more information on your oral health, visit DeltaDentalMN.org.
